Chronology of the Cancer

  • S:Recovery from HIPEC, remainder of 2012
  • T: August, 2012 - Clean CT
  • U: November 2012: Clean CT
  • V: 12/19/1962 - 50th Birthday Party
  • W: Feburary, 2013- CT show Mats to the right lung
  • X: March 2013 - Begin chemo cycle (6)
  • a. 2010 - The Year in Cycling - it took many months to get into decent condition.
  • b. January, 2011 - tested with low iron levels. Stomach issues continue.
  • c. 2011 - The Year in Cycling - again it took a long time to get into condition. Racing results were greatly deminished even though I was training all year.
  • d. July 2011 - Low Iron again - colonoscopy recommended.
  • e. July 26, 2011 - Slowest Time Trial result ever; extreemly fatiqued.
  • f. August 26, 2011 - colonoscopy detected a large mass in my right colon.
  • g. September 7, 2011 - Surgury to remove part of colon, lymps nodes and nodules.
  • h. September 14, 2011 - Diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
  • i. September 27, 2011 - after recovering from Surgury, met with Oncologist.
  • j. October 3, 2011 - Surgury - Chemo port implanted under my skin in my chest.
  • k. October 10 - Begin 6 months of Chemo
  • l.March, 2012 Discontinued chemo
  • m. May, 1212: CT SCAN came back with cancer
  • n: Underwent HIPEC Treatment 6/12/12
